WEDDING BELLS AT THE BARN

Accompanied by 140 guests, Caity and Brandon exchanged their vows surrounded by nature in the fresh air of April. If you have ever had the pleasure of visiting The Barn at Old Bethpage Village Restoration, you are familiar with the simplistic beauty of its natural rustic ambiance. This down to earth feel complimented the whimsical personalities of our couple and became the perfect setting to begin their lives together.

A personalized welcome sign invited guests to the freshly landscaped grounds where Caity and Brandon would meet under an arbor covered in wheat-colored pampas grass to become husband and wife. If the flower girls being wheeled to the altar in a radio flyer wagon by the ring bearer didn’t move you, then the family dog making his debut on the aisle surely would have. The couple’s unique style was embedded in every detail of their special day. Tables under the tented cocktail hour were adorned with potted plants and guests were free to enjoy the games of corn hole, tic-tac-toe, and connect four. The theme of the day was rustic, relaxed, and regal.

Walking through the barn doors beautifully monogrammed with Caity and Brandon’s initials, you are fully aware of the love that energizes the atmosphere. The reception was a perfect blend of earthy tones and beautifully crafted floral arrangements of eucalyptus leaves and wild flowers. Sage and soft gold adornments allowed the authentic farms tables to come alive under the twinkling of the barn lights. Caity and Brandon’s personal touches made the event memorable, especially the “ in memoriam” table topped with pictures of missed loved ones. With a wooden card box, twigs gracing the wedding cake, and mini succulents as parting gifts, it was indeed a night of rustic elegance.
